A crowd of bananas. A lineup of bars. One unforgettable night in Edmonton.
Your next night out needs a better plan than “we’ll figure it out when we get there.”
The Banana Bar Crawl brings a crowd of people in banana suits together for a night of bar hopping, ridiculous photos, fun challenges and meeting people you probably would never have met otherwise.
You bring your friends and your ID. We bring the banana suits, organize the bar schedule and get the bunch moving.
Along the way, you’ll tackle your challenge card, compete for a shot at prizes and collect free merch and goodies from our brand partners at suit pickup.
Coming with your whole crew? Get everyone on the same team. Coming alone? Join the Free Agents. Either way, you’ll be surrounded by people who have already committed to going out dressed as fruit.
Get your Edmonton Banana Bar Crawl tickets and join the bunch.
The Banana Bar Crawl is a bar crawl in Edmonton built around one very important rule: everyone wears a banana suit.
You’ll visit multiple participating bars throughout the night, following a set schedule with your team. Between stops, you’ll walk through Edmonton as part of a bright yellow parade that tends to attract a little attention.
But this is more than putting on a costume and ordering a drink.
Your ticket comes with a challenge card to keep the night interesting, opportunities to meet other crawlers, free merch and goodies from brand partners, and your very own banana suit to keep afterwards.
The best part? Everyone is in on the joke. Starting a conversation gets a lot easier when you and the person next to you are both dressed as bananas.
We run Banana Bar Crawls in cities and college towns across the US and Canada, and Edmonton is part of the bunch.
There’s no complicated costume theme to interpret. No wondering whether anyone else will dress up. Your banana suit is included with your ticket, and everyone wears one.
From the first group photo to the walk between bars, you’re part of something you won’t confuse with an ordinary night out.
You don’t have to spend half the evening debating where to go next.
Your team follows a set schedule of participating bars and times. Check your next stop, gather your bunch and keep the night moving.
Your challenge card gives you more to do than stand around with the same three friends.
Expect a reason to get involved, meet fellow crawlers and bring some friendly competition to your night. Complete challenges for a chance to win prizes—and give your team something to talk about between stops.
The fun starts at suit pickup. Along with your crawl essentials, you’ll collect free merch and goodies from our brand partners.
Partner giveaways vary by event and availability, so the specific items may change from one crawl to the next.
Bring your roommates, your teammates, your coworkers or that friend who always says they need a night out.
You can also come on your own. Our Free Agent team gives solo crawlers and anyone booking without a team a bunch to join from the start.

A normal night out might end with a few photos. This one comes with a challenge card.
Use it as your excuse to get involved, break out of your usual group and add some friendly competition to the evening. Tackle challenges as you move through the crawl, cheer on your friends and see who takes the card a little more seriously than expected.
The official challenges and completion instructions are provided at the event. Check your card for the details, including how to qualify for a chance to win prizes.
Want to give your own group a few extra missions? Try these just-for-fun ideas alongside the official challenge card:
These bonus ideas are just for your group; they don’t count towards official prizes. Keep challenges respectful, follow venue rules and ask before including other people in photos.
Your banana suit isn’t the only thing waiting at pickup.
We team up with brand partners to add free merch and goodies to the Banana Bar Crawl experience. Collect what’s available at suit pickup, check out the partner giveaways and get your night started with a little extra.
